Helen and Fred Sun, were born in China in the 1920s and met at Christian school. Coinciding with the founding of China, they embraced their ideals and participated in the construction of the motherland. Helen was a chief accountant of a hospital in Guangzhou at the time, and Fred was teaching at a university in Guangzhou.

At the beginning of the 21st century, the two elders began to pay attention to and get involved in the US-China transportation & rolling stock industry and received support from Tangche. Then they represented Tangche (now renamed “CRRC”) to promote and sell rolling stocks in the United States, Canada and Mexico. They became corporate "partners" from the initial "agents" as well, and officially entered the North American market with successful record.
